Ep. 91: Jupiter – He Started Wrestling in His 30s… Now He’s an International Pro Wrestler!

He didn’t start professional wrestling until his 30s. He wasn’t even a lifelong wrestling fan. Now Jupiter is travelling the world as an international professional wrestler!

In Episode 91 of The Grapple Of Your Eye Show, Brett Summers sits down with Jupiter, one of the most distinctive characters emerging from the modern British professional wrestling scene.

Jupiter’s journey is anything but conventional.

After initially struggling to find his place in professional wrestling, working tiny independent shows and openly admitting that some of his early matches were far from perfect, he simply kept showing up.

That persistence eventually led him to learning from and working alongside experienced names from the British wrestling scene, including Marty Jones, Mickey Limerick, Vito Peru, Tony Spitfire and many more.

Today, Jupiter works across the UK and internationally, including appearances in Italy and Saudi Arabia, while performing for promotions including All Star Wrestling, First Class Wrestling, Squared Circle Wrestling, Big Time Wrestling Experience and Saudi Pro Wrestling.

Jupiter also explains why he believes aspiring professional wrestlers need more than impressive moves.

You need conditioning.

You need presentation.

You need to understand your audience.

And most importantly…

You have to keep showing up.

From struggling through his earliest matches to travelling hundreds of miles between shows and eventually wrestling internationally, Jupiter’s story demonstrates just how far persistence, professionalism and the willingness to learn can take you.

If you’re interested in British wrestling, professional wrestling training, catch wrestling, World of Sport wrestling, WWE, AEW, independent wrestling, wrestling psychology or the history and future of UK professional wrestling, this is an episode you won’t want to miss.
